Welcome to BlogCFC 5.9.8. This is an important step on the way towards 6.0. This release simplifies setup, removes some old features, and features a brand new skin.

You can download from SVN or the zip attached to this blog entry. I expect a "formal" release at the end of the year.

So - 2 minutes after I posted this blog entry I found 3 quick issues. Please do not download the enclosure just yet.

p.s. Ok - after some quick fixes, the zip now should ready for you guys to play with. You can also get from SVN.

I'm using BlogCFC v5.9.7 on CF9 server; where can I find info about how install latest version?

The "typical" update process is to read readme.txt. The file talks about the changes from version to version. 5.9.8 is a pretty big update in terms of layout. What I'd recommend is to create a new dev server locally and copy the files into a new folder. Set your settings and run it to see how it looks for you. Does that make sense?

Before create this comment I have read readme.txt but I'm unable to find any info about upgrade from 5.9.7 (my verision) to 5.9.8; I would try to setup a dev machine like you suggest. Thank.
